Zahnya

Well we did find a friend for our tw Oldenberg stallions.  Her name is Zahnya and she was the Oldenberg Breed Champion for USA last year

She was a winner at Devon and was a winner of the USA as a weanling.  More to follow

Stallion Update

The world of stallions is an interesting one.  We took our stallion over to Highlife Farms and worked with the staff there and the folks from ERS (Equine Reproductive Services Karen Burk) .  They were great and it was quite an experience.  We now have some frozen semen of Pegasus.  We also worked with Joe Krakos Horse Shoeing on this program.  This is a big adventure for all of us but we have made the first step and will make more. 

On another front a young lady got given a mini horse to take care of and she did not really have the means or know how and tied the mini horse to a tree to go shopping and the mini horse here after know as Rocky decided he did not like this and chew through the rope and went for a saunter through downtown Leesburg on his own in search of fresh carrots, apples and girl horses as he is also a stallion.  The only thing he found was the Lake County Animal shelter folks who offered him a carrot and a ride to visit them and he had his own room there but it looked more like jail so we bailed him out and now he lives here.  We got help and assitenace from Amande Walsh and the folks at Cheesers Palace.  A great place to have breakfast by the way Downtown Clermont.

So now what to do with this guy a a stallion.  I would like to bred him once and turn him into a gelding.  I have to figure out how to do this without great expense.  I am open to all suggestions.  I have a board of directors to get a decisions through but let’s see some ideas

We won Blue ribbons, Green Ribbons, Red Ribbons suffice it to say we won a lot of ribbons!!!!

We are going to a show this weekend in Bushnell Florida.  By chance I met the guy who built the facility.   Nice guy.  Today, I am reading the magazine Equestrian.  National magazine.   The Oldenburg Horse Breeders Society has picked Prezioso to be their featured horse.  The Oldenburg Horse Breeders Society took out a full page 4 colr ad promoting the Oldenburg breed and society and featured Prezioso.
